Racing is my Passion
2011-07-23 Just became the US National Rotax Karting Champion (first female).
2011 In February Ekarting News Presented the 2010 US Rotax Max Challenge National Points Leaders. I was named the DD2 point champion and the only female Rotax champion for 2010
2010 In Spring 2010 I moved up from Juniors to the DD2 Rotax shifter class, winning the Rotax North East Regional Challenge season opener. At the Grant Nationals in Indiana, my first major race in DD2, I finished 4th and 6th posting the 3rd fastest time in the prefinal, less than 2 tenth off the 2009 World Finals podium sitter Cody Hodgson. I am looking forward to further improving my driving skills!
2009 was a great learning experience. I had the chance to travel to new tracks, win several races, pole positions, and fast laps.
At the US Rotax Grand Nationals in Norman, OK, I was 4th fastest in the warm-up on race day in the ultra-competitive Junior class (40 entries).
Starting the final from the back -- after a big pile-up in the prefinal race in turn 1-- I battled my way to 14th, running as high as 10th in between.
2008 In -my fist full racing season- I finished 2nd in the North East Regional Rotax Challenge Series in the Rotax Junior class and 3rd in the local club series against many competitors with 5 and more years of experience.
I have always been interested in Motorsports!
My first time in a kart was at an indoor racing camp in August of 2006 - I was hooked the first day!
Of course, soon I wanted to go faster and drive more challenging karts.
Finally, in summer of 2007, I got my own Rotax Junior kart and could participate in my first outdoor race the last week of August.
2011 US National Rotax Champion. Go Team USA!!
